1 Leg to India Down

Hello from Amsterdam - 7.55am here, just arrived after eight hours of flying. I cranked my new iPod Video the entire way, and it helped shorten the trip. The new Etymotic ER6i earphones really cut down the ambient noise. I literally could not hear plane noise or babies crying, etc.

We board up in 2 hours to continue on to Mumbai, when we land it will be 11pm local time.

Temps are dropping to the teens here in MSP tonight… time to fly the coop for warmer climes.

Our journey to India will take us to Tamil Nadu and Kerala, 3 different wildlife refuges and uncountable temples. We’ll be doing a houseboat trip into the backwaters of Kerala…

I hope to be able to upload some pix on the run… we’ll see.

Have a great turkey day – we’ll be dining on chickpeas and curry, lentils, dosa and idli… mmmmmmmmmm

I’ll be back in the office on December 8… seems like a long time from now.
